The Respect Programme aims to explore identity, anti-social behaviour and other key issues. It looks to have a greater impact on Muslim women and girls in reflecting upon their attitudes and behaviour and to asses how this impacts upon the wider society. The Respect Programme consists of workshops and one-to-one sessions – it engages with young Muslim women and girls to identify and discuss personal targets, with the use of a range of activities and events such as discovery in the park, art, museum trips and mentoring sessions.

The programme prides itself on enabling young Muslim women and girls to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills and discuss coping techniques for problematic situations and behaviours. It enables them to facilitate solutions and their application to different settings such as school, home and in their social time.
