It’s been 20 years since The Kiran Project first opened its doors to Asian women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse: two decades of progress and success, during which the organisation has gone from strength to strength, delivering a wide range of unique and holistic services to women and children in the Asian community.

The shocking statistics encourage us to act and implement strategies to prevent abuse of any form.

The Kiran Project provides a wide range of services tailored to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse community. We have initiated many strands of work to ensure that effective support is delivered to our users.

From our beginnings with one refuge we now have a resource centre where we provide parenting programmes, training, advocacy, advice and information. We work closely with schools, colleges, children’s centres, voluntary and statutory agencies.
